Are you constantly on the road because of work? Are you RVing across the US? If so you will most likely get tired of eating out. Not only is eating out costly but the healthy options are limited. We have scoured the internet looking for the easiest meals to cook while on the road. Here are some of the best suggestions we found:
To get more vegetables in your meal you can buy bags of chopped onions, bell peppers and mushrooms that can be inserted into breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Jambalaya sounds complicated for on the road, but all that is needed are pre-cooked sausage and rice packets, spices and chopped veggies. Toss in a pot and cook.
Individual cans of pre-made tuna salad with crackers, bags of nuts, dried fruit or an apple or banana are great ideas for breakfast or snacks!
A salad is great to have on hand at all times. All you need is a package of cut and washed greens and a container of salad dressing.
On the go wraps - dips like hummus and dill sauce are perfect. Buy a bag of frozen falafel and wrap them up in a tortilla along with some dips and veggie sticks.
Campfire Chicken Stew-cooked chicken breast, potatoes, carrots, 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, water and salt and pepper, cook.
Ham and Brie Sandwiches with Honey Mustard Dressing- This is a great make ahead recipe because the bread won’t get soggy! All you need is Kaiser rolls, ham, wedge of brie, honey and Dijon mustard
